Festival Of Trees

1st Annual Stockbridge Festival of Trees  (2023)

The Stockbridge Festival Of Trees is a walkable display of decorated holiday trees setup by individuals, families, groups, and businesses.  The Festival Of Trees creates an opportunity for our community to celebrate the Christmas season together. Community members can come out to walk through the trees and enjoy the splendor of our communities creativity!

Come out for a stroll.  Meet your neighbors.  Take pictures!

Trees will be setup starting the day after Thanksgiving and kept in place through Christmas week.

WHERE:  Field beside Trinity Church & The Green Front Café

WHEN:  Friday, November 24th (day after Thanksgiving) – Monday, January 1st, 2023
Sunrise until 7pm daily

RESERVE A SPACE TO SETUP A TREE!

$20 for an individual/family
$30 for an organization/company
* Additional donations are welcome!

  • Setup Trees: Friday, November 24th, – Thursday November 30th
  • Official opening: Friday, December 1st (1st Day of Christmas)
  • Tree Display: Friday, December 1st – Monday, January 1st
  • Dismantle Trees: Tuesday, January 2nd – Saturday January 6th

RULES & GUIDELINES   (last updated 11/14/23)

  1. Participants must provide their own tree. Artificial trees or live cut trees may be used. Big ones. Small ones.  All ones!
    NOTE:  We have a few trees may be available for you to decorate if you do not have a tree to setup.  Ask if you need a tree.
  2. Participants are requested to make a donation to setup a tree. This money will be given to Trinity United Methodist Church to help sponsor a family (or families) that need a little boost this holiday season.  If it is not in your budget to make the donation… you are still welcome to setup a tree!
  1. No Electricity will be provided to light trees.  Battery powered lights or solar lights can be used if you want to light it up.
  2. NO open flames are allowed.
  3. The Green Front Cafe and Trinity United Methodist Church are not responsible for any personal property setup on the property.  Please do NOT include anything in the displays that you are not willing to part with.  The area is not secured.
  4. Spaces will be assigned at the discretion of the hosts to maximize the overall setup.  Let us know if you have a preference, but please respect the decisions.
  5. Trees may be decorated with any safe materials.  Since this is an outside event, decorators should be mindful of weather conditions when choosing materials to decorate trees.
  6. Other holiday decorations may also be setup by community members with special permission.  ***  GET CREATIVE ***
  7. Inappropriate or offensive decorations will be refused and/or removed.
  8. All participants will be required to sign an application & liability release form.
  9. Any tree or decorations not retrieved by the end of the event will be donated in its entirety.  If you are having a challenge picking up your tree let us know in advance.
